In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

udf: Detect system inodes linked into directory hierarchy

When UDF filesystem is corrupted, hidden system inodes can be linked into directory hierarchy which is an avenue for further serious corruption of the filesystem and kernel confusion as noticed by syzbot fuzzed images. Refuse to access system inodes linked into directory hierarchy and vice versa.(CVE-2023-53695)

In the Linux kernel, a boundary check vulnerability exists in the SCSI SES (SCSI Enclosure Services) component. The vulnerability involves improper boundary checking of the addldescptr pointer in the sesenclosuredata_process() function, which may lead to out-of-bounds accesses.(CVE-2023-7324)

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

crypto: afalg - Disallow concurrent writes in afalg_sendmsg

Issuing two writes to the same af_alg socket is bogus as the data will be interleaved in an unpredictable fashion. Furthermore, concurrent writes may create inconsistencies in the internal socket state.

Disallow this by adding a new ctx->write field that indiciates exclusive ownership for writing.(CVE-2025-39964)
